English: Calling All Climate Warriors! Learn how to prepare your family for emergencies in the increasingly uncertain climate of New York City. This introductory workshop is designed for families who are new to the city or those who want a refresher on basic flood and hurricane preparedness. Participants will learn about hurricane zones and local evacuation centers, things to pack for an emergency and play a game of Bingo to review the concepts. Our emergency preparedness superhero Ready Girl will also introduce these key concepts to the attending youth, and they will get to design their own capes to become a community hero. During the event, speakers will be available in Mandarin and English. This is all brought to you by Ready New York from New York Emergency Management.
