Bay Terrace is closed for a renovation project. This includes the addition of a new teen room, a new multipurpose community room with audiovisual equipment, and an accessible entrance at the side of the building.

The Far Rockaway Swing Space is located at 1003 Beach 20th Street, adjacent to the Far Rockaway Teen Library. The main library at 1637 Central Avenue is closed during the construction of a new building.

Hillcrest is closed for replacement of its roof and HVAC system.

The library will be closed for approximately 9 months. We expect to reopen the library in November 2023.

Queens Library UPK@ Ravenswood, at 35-32 21 Street, Long Island City, is a Universal Pre-Kindergarten site. Our site is a free fully operational school and is only accessible to families with children enrolled with us. Steinway Library will close starting Saturday, April 8 for the next phase of its renovations, which will upgrade portions of the first floor and cellar.
