AANHPI: How to Master Chinese Essay Writing (in Chinese)

慶祝亞裔月特別講座:我們這樣寫散文

English: Chinese essay writing has long been considered a genre that is easy to embark on and yet very difficult to master. Mr. Zhang Zongzi and Dr. Cai Weizhong are both prominent essayists in the metropolitan New York area, with more than a dozen books under their names. Mr. Zhang currently writes a column at Hong Kong Literature Monthly magazine while Dr. Cai has been a columnist at the China Press newspaper. At this event, they will share their perspectives on how to write essays and what to write about, drawing valuable insights from their own experiences, styles, and subjects. The seminar will be carried out as a panel-discussion and moderated by Mr. Aiguo Ying, who will also share stories about his personal journey, writing and publishing more than 200 pieces in local Chinese newspapers in the past decade.
