A Special Center for Children Ages 3-12

The Children's Library Discovery Center opened in 2011. It includes hands-on interactive exhibits and learning labs with our very own Discovery Team to enable children ages 3-12 to find information and to inspire interest in books, reading, and learning.
A tool available for children through the library is the PowerKids Life Science database. This great resource is specifically designed for learners in grades 3 to 6. PowerKids Life Science promotes digital literacy and 21st century learning skills while offering research, report, and homework help.
