Climate Action: Fantastic Flowers with Queens Botanical Gardens

Connect to your inner scientist and artist by applying your powers of observation! Participants dissect flowers and learn about the function of each part before creating a floral-inspired sun catcher using their knowledge of flower color, shape and form. Participants will get to take home a flower seed plant too! Space is limited to 25 on a first come, first serve basis. This program is funded by the Newtown Creek Environmental Benefit Fund and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. It is administered by the City Parks Foundation.
