Queens Public Library’s STACKS out-of-school program enhances your child’s learning and development through age-appropriate educational activities in a safe and welcoming environment. School-age children build their social, emotional, and academic skills.
Designed for children enrolled in grades K-5, this out-of-school educational enrichment program operates during the school year, including school holidays, Mondays through Fridays, from 3pm to 5:30pm. Classes are held in-person only at select locations.
Each session begins with homework help, facilitated by trained and caring staff. Following homework help sessions, children participate in a variety of enrichment activities and projects which are informative, hands-on, fun, and often complement school curriculum, using all the resources Queens Public Library has to offer–for free.
