The American Library Association has reported historic highs in the number of banned and challenged book titles.
It is more important than ever to stand against censorship.
This October and during Banned Books Week (October 4-10), celebrate the freedom to read at Queens Public Library!
You can get our Freedom to Read Trading Card, Special Edition Library Card, read recommended titles in digital formats without any checkout limits on OverDrive/Libby, and so much more. Plus, during Banned Books Week, sign up for a library card in person to be entered for the chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card! Twenty winners will be randomly selected from new library card applications. Gift cards donated by Amazon. View Sweepstakes rules here.
