A PIN (Personal Identification Number) is a 4-digit number that is created on the day you open your library account. Your PIN should be kept confidential so no one can access your account.
You will need your PIN in order to
- Check out library materials
- Access the library computers and online research databases
- Access your account information online or through the CALL system
- Request books online
If you forget your PIN
You may reset it if we have a valid e-mail address on file. From our home page click "Forgot Your PIN". If you do not have an e-mail address on file, please visit the circulation desk of any Queens Library to reset your PIN. You will be asked to provide ID. Don't forget to also provide an e-mail address so you can reset it online in the future!
To change your PIN
When logged into your account just click the Preferences tab. From here you can also sign up for e-mail notifications.
