Then you should be a part of the Voices of Queens Teen Radio Podcast, a podcast station run by teens, for teens, which is part of Queens Public Library's Podcast Programs.

Learn how to produce your own podcasts and social media content in this free workshop! You will pick up new presenting skills, audio recording skills, and editing skills, all while learning what makes a podcast fun and entertaining.

Your podcast can be about a range of topics — spread the word about new music and movies, talk about issues facing you and your peers, or investigate local history. The possibilities are endless! This program is open to all young adults 12–19 years old and in the 6th to 12th grades.

This program is offered only in-person at Central Library’s Teen Space. Completion of this course gives you access to scholarship opportunities, enhances your resume, and can even get you started on the road to a rewarding career in broadcast journalism, audio engineering, news reporting, podcasting, influencing, or TV & radio.

The first 15 participants to complete the program's requirements will receive a special prize related to podcasting. Past prizes have included Samsung tablets and Beats headphones!

Spring 2023 Program Dates: February 13, 2023–June 30, 2023
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays *except DOE holidays
4-6pm

There is open enrollment through the Spring semester.
