One-on-One Technical Assistance

Queens Public Library provides public access to library computer workstations, as well as free WiFi at all locations. Staff are available to provide technical support if you need assistance connecting to the network on a personal device or using a library computer.

Basic Classes

Foundational digital literacy classes are available at all library locations. Master the use of a mouse and keyboard, learn the basics of Microsoft Office, and sign up for your first email account—no experience required! Class topics include bring-your-own-device workshops, staying safe online, and using Queens Public Library databases and e-content applications. Foundational classes are available at select locations in Spanish, Bengali, and Chinese. Browse the carousel below or check your branch calendar to see what’s coming up and to register online.

Advanced Classes

If you’re looking to go beyond the basics, Queens Public Library offers a wide range of intermediate to advanced computer classes at select locations. Explore Python and JavaScript in our web development classes, add pivot tables to your Microsoft Excel toolkit, or dive into Photoshop in our Adobe Creative suite series. Advanced classes are available for all ages—job seekers looking for marketable skills, coding programs for children, or podcasting workshops for teens. Many of these programs are offered at our Flushing, Central, and Queensbridge locations. Browse the carousel below or check the calendar page to register.
