
The National External Diploma Program (NEDP) is designed for self-directed youth and adults with life and work experiences and a general familiarity with computers.
It assesses high school-level skills for which a New York State HSE diploma may be awarded so graduates can meet their academic and career goals.
The NEDP offers flexible scheduling, confidentiality, and valuates 70 competencies in ten content areas, including Financial Literacy, Health Literacy, Civic Literacy, Geography, History, Science, and the Twenty-First Century Workplace.
How Do I Join the NEDP?
- Must be 21 years or older
- Attend the NEDP program orientation
- Pass CASAS diagnostic exam
