Gooch and his husband welcome two sons via surrogacy, prompting him to reflect on his own upbringing. His book is a poignant and often humorous look at the evolving nature of gay identity and the universal experience of parenthood. Penny Arcade is an NYC-based performance artist, playwright, and poet. She has been a key figure in avant-garde theatre for over 50 years, creating work that explores gentrification, sexual politics, and counterculture. Ama Birch is a poet and artist, and the author of six books, an animation, and a video game. She is an adjunct professor in the Department of English at Hunter College.
