Open Mic for Poets and Writers with Barbara Schwartz

In honor of Jewish American Heritage Month: Join us for an evening of creativity and connection! Share your work, exchange feedback, and connect with fellow writers in a warm, supportive space. Barbara Schwartz is the author of three books of poetry, a chapbook “Any Thriving Root” (dancing girl press, 2017) the collaborative collection “Nothing But Light” (Circling Rivers, 2022), and the hybrid memoir in verse, “What Survives is the Fire,” forthcoming from Alternating Current Press in 2026. Barbara works as an education consultant and advocate for neurodivergent children and their families. Whether you’re an experienced writer or just beginning your creative journey, this is a great opportunity to learn, share, and be inspired.
