English: These excerpts from Peking Opera Classics will showcase renowned masterpieces performed by distinguished contemporary artists, celebrating the rich heritage and artistry of traditional Peking Opera. Our program features selected scenes from classic works, including San Zhan Zhang Yue’e, Xi Fu Shan, Jiang Xiang He, Wang Jiang Ting, and The Legend of the White Snake, highlighting both martial and civil drama. Through dynamic combat scenes, expressive singing, refined acting, and lyrical storytelling, the performance will demonstrate the diversity of role types and stylistic schools within Peking Opera. Featuring both celebrated masters and emerging talents, this production honors tradition while offering an accessible and engaging experience for both longtime enthusiasts and new audiences.
