Start Open Data Week with an engaging and hands-on introduction to open data. This interactive workshop will break down what open data is, why it’s important, and how it impacts everyday life in our communities. Participants will explore the NYC Open Data platform through guided examples, discovering how public datasets can answer real-world questions and support community action. No prior experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to explore how data can tell powerful stories. This workshop will be held in person at Queens Public Library, Ravenswood Community Learning Center.
