Indigenous People’s Month: Beadwork Workshop

Join Claire Soleil Gardner, a Métis-Cree Indigenous artist, for a fun and creative workshop! Claire will share stories, teach us about Native American and Indigenous culture, and guide you in making your own beaded bracelets, necklaces, and more—each inspired by the Four Directions. You'll also learn about the Cree language, Métis Cree traditions, and enjoy Indigenous children's books. This hands-on workshop is a great way to explore the art of beadwork and connect with Indigenous heritage. All materials are provided. Space is limited—first come, first served! This program is funded by New York State Senator Michael Gianaris.
