Podcasting for Teens with Queens Memory Project

Teens, have you ever dreamed of having your own podcast? Join Queens Public Library to learn the ins and outs of podcasting! In this series, you will work with a professional producer to create an episode of the Queens Memory podcast. You'll learn the basics of podcasting, like interviewing, storytelling and editing, and the series will culminate in a celebration to listen to the completed work at the Teen Center. All teens who participate will receive a certificate and a special gift. Podcast Episode Theme: How are artists devising creative responses to the climate crisis? "Flood Sensor Aunty" is a play that shines a light on flood preparedness and how sometimes the best way to protect ourselves from flooding is getting to know our neighbors. In this fourth episode of "Memories of Water," we go behind the scenes to interview Sabina Sethi Unni, creator of "Flood Sensor Aunty", urban planner, community organizer, and public artist.
