Women's History Month: Celebrating Diverse Women with Chinese Papercutting and Collage

Let’s celebrate Women’s History Month together as we honor American women of every race and ethnic background who helped found and build our nation. In this workshop, Master Ming Liang Lu and Sharlene Chou will demonstrate paper cutting, an ancient Chinese art form dating from the Han dynasty. They will also teach you how to be creative with collage art using various objects and materials. Participants will learn how to make women figures of different ethnic backgrounds. Supplies are limited. Visit https://queenslib.org/womenshistory2023 for Women's History Month programs, booklists, resources, and more!
