English: Art is the creative expression of human feelings, emotions and beliefs. Art creators of different times often visit and revisit some similar motifs as a way to pay homage to a previous artist and/or to offer new meanings and new interpretations. In this series, we will explore some common art motifs in western art, such as Pieta, Apple, Sabine Women. Presenter John Wang holds master's degrees in World Religions from Harvard University and in English Literature from Shanghai International Studies University.
