Culture Bridge: Music of Silk and Bamboo

文化橋樑: 長風中樂團 “丝竹樂”

English: Combining instruments made from silk and bamboo gave rise to one of the most important Chinese music genres – sizhu, which is music of silk and bamboo. The soft, elegant sound of silk strings and warm tones from bamboo winds characterize much of the classical repertoire and folk music that continue to be popular today.
