Culture Bridge: Featuring Ben Rosenblum & Jasper Dutz

Ben Rosenblum (accordion) and Jasper Dutz (multi-instrumentalist specializing in woodwinds and reeds) return to the Flushing Library to perform a selection of traditional folk music from Japan and throughout East Asia. Drawing from their background in a variety of music genres, the pair will examine the history of these musical traditions while also exploring them through improvisation. In 2024, Dutz released an album of original music and arrangements inspired by his Japanese heritage - this concert will feature some selections from this project, as well as brand new arrangements spanning multiple East Asian countries. This program is funded by The Nissan Foundation grant. Join Zoom Meeting https://queenslib.org/3Jc3 Meeting ID: 867 7850 3353 Passcode: 372276
