Climate Ready Workshops at Queens Public Libraries

The Climate Ready Workshop series will explore climate change and weather-related occurrences, and how they impact Queens' communities. Climate Ready is for anyone who wants to stay more informed, like homeowners, renters, business owners, older adults, environmental advocates, and more! WORKSHOP 1: CLIMATE CHANGE AND ITS IMPACT ON YOUR HEALTH Learn about the health implications of climate change, and what you can do to reduce their impact. WORKSHOP 2: GETTING PREPARED FOR THE NEXT FLOOD, DROUGHT, OR WORSE Learn how to prepare for environmental emergencies to protect yourself and your family. WORKSHOP 3: UNDERSTANDING CITY, STATE, & FEDERAL CLIMATE LEGISLATION AND PROPOSALS Learn how climate-related laws and legislation are addressing climate change, and what you can do now to create a more climate-resilient Queens. Climate Ready is funded by Con Edison.
