中国书法班 — 全新系列

English: Flushing Library is proud to present a new series of Chinese calligraphy classes led by Shen Xinde (沈新德), President of the North American Calligraphers Association. A prominent figure in New York’s calligraphy community, Mr. Shen has taught at the library many times and has overseen several student exhibitions. He also teaches in Long Island and at the China Institute in Manhattan. In this series, attendees will engage in hands-on practice, learn essential brush, stroke, and layout techniques, explore the aesthetics and cultural foundations of Chinese calligraphy, and receive individualized instructor feedback. This class is ideal for anyone looking to deepen their calligraphic skills and connect with New York’s vibrant Chinese calligraphy community. These programs are funded by the Starr Foundation.
