Summary
Valentina Valente *She is my dad *is a bilingual book that shares a story about two moms, unconditional love and the brave act of speaking up. It is the first of a series of stories that follow the life experiences of 8 year old Valentina. With vibrant retro-cartoon style illustrations, by architect and graphic designer Adam Esquivel, Adámico, this short story will empower young readers and move the adult audience. It is a celebration of family diversity, the LGBTQ+ community, and single mothers who consider themselves the father figure for their children, giving a voice to many families that are rarely represented in children's literature.--from Amazon
