UPK at Ravenswood

As a lifelong educator and former Chancellor of the NYC Department of Education, I can’t stress how important a good start is for your child’s education.

A high quality Pre-K program lays the foundation that gives children stronger math and reading skills in elementary school and a better chance at success in life. Many studies have shown that early childhood education improves a child’s performance throughout their school experience.

As you start the New Year, it’s time to start planning for your child’s education. If your child was born in 2013, I recommend you register them for New York City’s Pre-K For All program, which offers free Universal Pre-K classes that start in September 2017.

As you consider all of your options, please consider Queens Library’s UPK at Ravenswood.

Queens Library’s Universal Pre-K at Ravenswood is located at 35-32 21st Street in Long Island City. Our UPK offers an outstanding education program that utilizes all the resources of Queens Library.

  • It’s a safe learning environment and staffed by highly qualified licensed teachers.
  • Our UPK program is fully licensed by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
  • Parents rave about the friendliness of the staff and how their kids are learning.
  • Your child will receive FREE nutritious lunches and snacks every day.

The Pre-K enrollment period starts January 17 through February 24. If you have any questions about our UPK program at Ravenswood or about the application process, please visit our UPK webpage.

We hope that you’ll consider us as your #1 choice for UPK!
