A photo from Anne Frank the Exhibition, at the Center for Jewish History in Manhattan.

Queens Public Library is proud to partner with the Anne Frank House at the Center for Jewish History for the special initiative Summer of Reflection: The Legacy of Anne Frank.

This initiative, which also includes Brooklyn Public Library, the New York Public Library, New York City Public Schools, and Union Square Partnership, commemorates what would have been Anne Frank's 96th birthday.

We hope you will take advantage of these two special opportunities in honor of Anne Frank's life and legacy.

Diary of a Young Girl Book Giveaway

One of the most translated and frequently challenged books in the world, The Diary of a Young Girl is Anne Frank’s firsthand account of hiding with her family from the Nazis in Amsterdam for two years during the Second World War.

The Anne Frank House—with support from Bank of America and UJA-Federation of New York—will distribute 10,000 free copies of Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl to reach young readers throughout New York City and help keep Anne’s story accessible for future generations.

Queens Public Library is proud to be one of the institutions in New York City where free copies of Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl are available.

Please contact your neighborhood QPL location to learn how young readers can get a free copy of Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl, while supplies last.
