At Queens Library at Central, we’re offering a free workshop, the Health Benefits of Vegetarianism, designed just for you! On Monday, October 1 from 2-3pm, our Queens ConnectCare health expert will discuss this lifestyle, as well as offer useful tips and recipes. Perhaps you might be inspired to try eating vegetarian food at your next meal! Participants will also have the opportunity to schedule an appointment at the Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center and receive free health screenings to learn about your blood pressure, blood glucose, and body mass index.
