Yoga for Adults with Dorothy Ng

Certified yoga instructor Dorothy Ng teaches basic yoga techniques and exercises. Bring a mat and wear workout clothes. It is recommended that you do not eat for three hours or drink for one hour before class. Space is limited and available first come, first served.

This is it! Come test your spelling skills against other kids at Queensboro Hill for your chance to qualify for the big spelling bee at Central Queens Library in Jamaica! Random Acts of Kindness: Teens Reaching Out

Teens write letters to be sent to children in hospitals, the elderly, and active military.


Thank you for your interest in the Friends of the Library at Queens Library.

We currently do not have a Friends group at this location, however, kindly contact the Friends Administrator (friends@queenslibrary.org) to find an active Friends group near you. 

Friends Chapters enrich community life around their community library. You will meet other people who care, and you will benefit your neighborhood by:

• Increasing community awareness and library use.
• Acting as liaisons between community and your library.
• Sponsoring programs that enhance the cultural life of your community.

As a Friend, you will:

• Educate your community about Queens Library’s vital services.
• Contribute your time towards programs and special activities at your library.
• Advocate for better library service to your own community through outreach, legislative contact, and fundraising.
