A Tribute to the Jersey Boys

Location: North Forest Park

The Vic Vincent Group presents a musical tribute to The Jersey Boys, who attained world-wide fame with their unique sound throughout several decades, including other great artists of rock'n roll, doo wop and pop, beginning in the 1950s and the decades that followed.

A Balloon Show with Nick The Balloonatic

Location: North Forest Park
Registration: Not required

In this fun-filled balloon show, Nick The Balloonatic will interact with children as he sculpts balloons, laughs, and jokes, making everyone feel special. Crazy hats, animals, and your favorite characters will be raffled off for children to take home.


Thank you for your interest in the Friends of the Library at Queens Library.

We currently do not have a Friends group at this location, however, kindly contact the Friends Administrator (friends@queenslibrary.org) to find an active Friends group near you. 

Friends Chapters enrich community life around their community library. You will meet other people who care, and you will benefit your neighborhood by:

• Increasing community awareness and library use.
• Acting as liaisons between community and your library.
• Sponsoring programs that enhance the cultural life of your community.

As a Friend, you will:

• Educate your community about Queens Library’s vital services.
• Contribute your time towards programs and special activities at your library.
• Advocate for better library service to your own community through outreach, legislative contact, and fundraising.
