Bilingual Birdies presents Movin' to Music in Spanish

Bilingual Birdies presents adventures under the sea, a trip to discover fun arctic animals, and the celebration of an authentic Carnaval! This program is for children birth to age six with live music, movement, dance, and puppetry. Our goal is to encourage cross-cultural awareness. Space is limited. Preregistration is required.

Solar One Energy Workshops

Join us for three sessions of energy education workshops that are hands-on experiences for children ages 7 to 12. These workshops foster a creative approach to design thinking, collaboration, and solving environmental challenges. Space is limited. Preregistration is required.

Thank you for your interest in the Friends of the Library at Queens Library.

We currently do not have a Friends group at this location, however, kindly contact the Friends Administrator (friends@queenslibrary.org) to find an active Friends group near you. 

Friends Chapters enrich community life around their community library. You will meet other people who care, and you will benefit your neighborhood by:

• Increasing community awareness and library use.
• Acting as liaisons between community and your library.
• Sponsoring programs that enhance the cultural life of your community.

As a Friend, you will:

• Educate your community about Queens Library’s vital services.
• Contribute your time towards programs and special activities at your library.
• Advocate for better library service to your own community through outreach, legislative contact, and fundraising.
