The Quilting Project

Location: East Flushing
Registration: By phone or in person

Professional teaching artist Karen Fitzgerald leads the class in sewing, planning, and quilting processes to create a quilt project from small to large. Participants will learn about the different types of fabrics and approaches to designing a quilt. If you have never used a sewing machine, sewing lessons are included. This is a nine-session course, including a culminating event. Please call 718-357-6643 to register for this class. Space is limited.

Animal Alive with Alley Pond Environmental Center

• Sponsoring programs that enhance the cultural life of your community.

As a Friend, you will:

• Educate your community about Queens Library’s vital services.
