Oral History Workshop at Sunnyside Library

Location: Sunnyside

Learn how to conduct a great interview to capture the history of your family or neighborhood as a Queens Memory volunteer interviewer. Queens Memory volunteers are working all over the borough to collect residents' stories and photos for safekeeping in the Queens Library digital archives. You will learn how to prepare for an interview, ask good questions, make a high-quality recording, and submit your completed interview to the library.

This workshop will cover what credit is, factors that influence your credit score, and how to obtain a free credit report. Creative Aging: Intermediate Drawing

This nine-week course for adults 50+ will focus on learning two systems: perspective and proportions for portraiture. We will use a variety of dry and wet drawing materials. The first several sessions will review processes and ideas from the "Drawing to See" course. We will work on self-portraits as well as portraits of participants in the course. Space is limited.
