Guitarrazón

Puerto Rican-born guitarist and composer Josué Pérez and guitarist and flamenco dancer Lisa Spraragen present "danza" and "bolero" selections by Rafael Hernandez, Angel Mislán and Don Felo, as well as original pieces by Pérez that range from a delicate prelude to a bold flamenco.

Friends Chapters enrich community life around their community library. You will meet other people who care, and you will benefit your neighborhood by:

• Increasing community awareness and library use.
• Acting as liaisons between community and your library.
• Sponsoring programs that enhance the cultural life of your community.

As a Friend, you will:

• Educate your community about Queens Library’s vital services.
• Contribute your time towards programs and special activities at your library.
• Advocate for better library service to your own community through outreach, legislative contact, and fundraising.
