He has appeared on commercials, TV shows such as America's Got Talent and MTV America's Best Dance Crew, and was a finalist on So You Think You Can Dance. This event highlights the origins and history of Hip Hop Dance, from the past to present day.

Queens Library Rocks! with Mr. Chris's Musical Experience

Children will engage in a high energy and interactive show with Mr. Chris featuring music, song, and dance with an educational twist. Come kick off Summer Reading and pick out great books to read over the summer. For children 6-12. Space is limited.

Friends Chapters enrich community life around their community library. You will meet other people who care, and you will benefit your neighborhood by:

• Increasing community awareness and library use.
• Acting as liaisons between community and your library.
• Sponsoring programs that enhance the cultural life of your community.

As a Friend, you will:

• Educate your community about Queens Library’s vital services.
• Contribute your time towards programs and special activities at your library.
• Advocate for better library service to your own community through outreach, legislative contact, and fundraising.
