ShapeUp NYC: STRONG by Zumba

Instructor Tanesha leads this fitness class where participants can increase their intensity levels of training, maximize their workout benefits, and see faster real results from their efforts. High intensity moves are interchanged with lower intensity moves throughout the entire workout. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water! Erik the Reptile Guy Presents an Environmentally Friendly Approach to Conservation Wildlife

Get ready for a great adventure with Erik the Reptile Guy and his "menagerie" of life sized GIANT reptiles, amphibians, and bugs! Ever want to see a 12 foot crocodile up close? You will! This fun-filled event is for ages 6-12.

• Increasing community awareness and library use.
• Acting as liaisons between community and your library.
• Sponsoring programs that enhance the cultural life of your community.

As a Friend, you will:

• Educate your community about Queens Library’s vital services.
• Contribute your time towards programs and special activities at your library.
• Advocate for better library service to your own community through outreach, legislative contact, and fundraising.
