North Hills Library is providing homeschoolers with a place to relax, educate, communicate, interact, and enjoy the freedoms of a communal environment outside their home. Project activities will be board games, chess, geography, movies, science, film, etc.

Local author Andrew Montante will discuss his fantasy novel "Moshe," about a tribe of humans that have fallen into the underworld. A Christmas Carol

Location: North Hills

This one-man play is based on the condensed version Dickens himself used on his historic reading tours of the United States and is adapted here to offer a unique theatrical experience. Actor Greg Oliver Bodine plays Dickens who must perform from memory the magical story of Scrooge's journey from miserliness to redemption. This show is rated G and is suitable for adults and children over ten (10) years of age. Join us!

We currently do not have a Friends group at this location, however, kindly contact the Friends Administrator (friends@queenslibrary.org) to find an active Friends group near you. 

Friends Chapters enrich community life around their community library. You will meet other people who care, and you will benefit your neighborhood by:

• Increasing community awareness and library use.
• Acting as liaisons between community and your library.
• Sponsoring programs that enhance the cultural life of your community.

As a Friend, you will:

• Educate your community about Queens Library’s vital services.
• Contribute your time towards programs and special activities at your library.
• Advocate for better library service to your own community through outreach, legislative contact, and fundraising.
