Breast Health: Cancer Screening and Prevention

Join Linda Bulone, RN, OCN, CCRC, for an informative workshop on breast health. During this session, we will discuss basic facts about breast cancer prevention and early detection, and review facts and myths about general breast health. All are welcome.

A Holiday Celebration with Lois Bruno

Location: Howard Beach
Registration: Not required

Lois Bruno invites the entire family to bring their holiday spirit as we celebrate this season with such memorable selection as White Christmas, Winter Wonderland, Let It Snow, and many more.


Thank you for your interest in the Friends of the Library at Queens Library.

We currently do not have a Friends group at this location, however, kindly contact the Friends Administrator (friends@queenslibrary.org) to find an active Friends group near you. 

Friends Chapters enrich community life around their community library. You will meet other people who care, and you will benefit your neighborhood by:

• Increasing community awareness and library use.
• Acting as liaisons between community and your library.
• Sponsoring programs that enhance the cultural life of your community.

As a Friend, you will:

• Educate your community about Queens Library’s vital services.
• Contribute your time towards programs and special activities at your library.
• Advocate for better library service to your own community through outreach, legislative contact, and fundraising.
