Free Citizenship Classes

Learn everything you need to know about American history, government, and culture to pass the citizenship exam. Register in-person at the library on Tuesday, April 10 from 1pm to 4 pm. or call 718-278-4303 to preregister in advance. Classes will be beginning from Tuesday, April 17 every Tuesday from 10 am to 1 pm at the Adult Learning Center . Students should have a copy of their green card when they come to register. Participants must attend the entire 12 week class series.

Come and experience the latest trend in relaxation, Adult Coloring! Studies show coloring can have a calming effect on the adult mind and helps promote overall wellness. STEAM Program with the Girl Scouts of Greater New York

Friends Chapters enrich community life around their community library. You will meet other people who care, and you will benefit your neighborhood by:

• Increasing community awareness and library use.
• Acting as liaisons between community and your library.
• Sponsoring programs that enhance the cultural life of your community.

As a Friend, you will:

• Educate your community about Queens Library’s vital services.
• Contribute your time towards programs and special activities at your library.
• Advocate for better library service to your own community through outreach, legislative contact, and fundraising.
