Join Robert and others for a little French conversation at the Douglaston/Little Neck library. An intermediate to native speaker level is preferred but all are welcome. We will speak French only.

Teens and Tweens Knit and Crochet for Warm Up America

Calling all Teens and Tweens!!! Come and learn how to knit and crochet for a great cause. We are teaming up with Warm Up America to create different items, such as scarves and blankets to donate to charity.

• Acting as liaisons between community and your library.
• Sponsoring programs that enhance the cultural life of your community.
As a Friend, you will:
• Educate your community about Queens Library’s vital services.
• Contribute your time towards programs and special activities at your library.
• Advocate for better library service to your own community through outreach, legislative contact, and fundraising.
