French Conversation Circle

Improve your French with the French Conversation Circle.

Rejoinds Robert et les autres pour un peu de conversation français à la bibliothèque Douglaston/Little Neck. Un niveau intermédiaire à locuteur natif préferé mais tous sont les bienvenus. Nous parlerons français seulement.

Join Robert and others for a little French conversation at the Douglaston/Little Neck library. An intermediate to native speaker level is preferred but all are welcome. We will speak French only.

Frogs, Bugs, & Animal Show

Location: Douglaston/Little Neck
Registration: Not required

This program features frogs, bugs, chinchillas, and a chicken. Learn about where these animals are from, what they eat, when they sleep, and how they protect themselves. Everyone is encouraged to pet and touch frogs, bugs, a bunny, guinea pigs, chinchillas, mice, reptiles, birds, hermit crabs, and a chicken. Enjoy dancing, singing, and a surprise activity at the end of the show. Space is limited. Preregistration is required.

Friends Chapters enrich community life around their community library. You will meet other people who care, and you will benefit your neighborhood by:
• Increasing community awareness and library use.
• Acting as liaisons between community and your library.
• Sponsoring programs that enhance the cultural life of your community.
As a Friend, you will:
• Educate your community about Queens Library’s vital services.
• Contribute your time towards programs and special activities at your library.
• Advocate for better library service to your own community through outreach, legislative contact, and fundraising.
