Language Learning Group for Beginners in French

Availability: 14 openings

Have you ever wished you could speak French? Learn how to use Transparent Language Online and benefit from a ten-week group learning experience too! You will need a Queens Library card and a computer, tablet, or smart phone to access Transparent Language to do your weekly assignments. Bring your device to the first session for help in setting up your Transparent Language Online account. Space is limited and preregistration is required.

The Circle of Transformation brings women together to support each other. A healing space is created where women can discuss issues that impact their lives. Free Childbirth Education

This three-hour class will help you build confidence in your body’s strength and abilities for birth. Come learn about the stages of labor, how to prepare, and what to expect. This class is a must for anyone who is pregnant, a support person, or considering having a child in the next year. Come learn from a Certified Childbirth Educator. An Evening of Art with the Cambria Heights Library Craft Artist Extraordinaire

Celebrate Cambria Heights Library's artistic community at their 4th Annual Artist Reception and Exhibit. An array of creative expression will be on display through October including yarn crafts, water color, acrylics, jewelry, line art photography, quilts, and sewing projects.

As a Friend, you will:
• Educate your community about Queens Library’s vital services.
• Contribute your time towards programs and special activities at your library.
• Advocate for better library service to your own community through outreach, legislative contact, and fundraising.
