Traveling Shoes: Black Migrations - Jacob Lawrence's Migration Series VS My Own

More than 75 years ago, Jacob Lawrence created the Migration Series, an epic narrative that through an ambitious 60-panel series portrays the Great Migration, the flight of over a million African-Americans from the rural South to the industrial North. Come learn about this monumental work and recreate the narrative of your family's journey in multiple images representing milestones of your family's history. Circle of Transformation: Empowerment Circle

The Circle of Transformation brings women together to support each other. A healing space is created where women can discuss issues that impact their lives. An Evening of Art with the Cambria Heights Library Craft Artist Extraordinaire
