Write On with the NY Writers Coalition!

Everyone has a voice. Everyone has a story. Bring yours and join us for writing and sharing work in a supportive, respectful environment. Poetry, plays, short stories, and everything in between – all crafted in one room! Teen Mental Health Week: Breathe, Let it Go

During this workshop, teens will explore different techniques and modalities like meditation, breathwork, and visualization to help you stay calm and collected no matter what life throws at you. The workshop is guided by Mariam Mouna, reiki practioner, natural born healer, and the founder of I See You Wellness lifestyle and wellness brand. Join NY Writers Coalition for a special creative writing workshop exploring end-of-life themes. Based on a true story, Ngozi Iwuoha relates a family's struggle to overcome the limits placed on it by geographical borders. Join neighborhood storytellers who share the past, present, and the future they see when they look at Cambria Heights. Examine historic photos and maps of Cambria Heights from the library’s collections, and bring your own family’s stories and photos to share. An Evening of Art with the Cambria Heights Library Craft Artist Extraordinaire

Celebrate Cambria Heights Library's artistic community at their 4th Annual Artist Reception and Exhibit. An array of creative expression will be on display through October including yarn crafts, water color, acrylics, jewelry, line art photography, quilts, and sewing projects.

As a Friend, you will:
• Educate your community about Queens Library’s vital services.
• Contribute your time towards programs and special activities at your library.
• Advocate for better library service to your own community through outreach, legislative contact, and fundraising.
