The space-themed movie titled "Space Jam" (rated PG, 1996) is about Michael Jordan who makes his starring film debut opposite the celluloid skills of Warner Bros.' Looney Tunes. Jordan must help the Looney Tunes win a basketball game against a group of outer-space creatures who plan, if they win, to kidnap the Looney Tunes and take them to an interplanetary theme park as the latest attraction.

Come to the Briarwood Public Library to watch "Hocus Pocus" (1993, PG). This movie is about three 17th-century witches, hanged for their murderous crimes, who are resurrected on Halloween in modern-day Salem by an unsuspecting boy, who must now figure out how to get them back in the ground.

As a Friend, you will:
• Educate your community about Queens Library’s vital services.
• Contribute your time towards programs and special activities at your library.
• Advocate for better library service to your own community through outreach, legislative contact, and fundraising.
