Tai Chi for Adults with Lenny Antonucci

Tai chi is a mind-body "soft style" martial art that originated in China. Sometimes called
"meditation in motion," it involves graceful forms of exercise using flowing movements. Space is limited. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. All participants must complete an exercise release form before the program begins.

IRS certified volunteers, sponsored by AARP Foundation, will complete and e-file your 2018 tax returns on a first-come, first-served basis. You must bring a NYS Driver's License or Non-Driver's ID; copy of the 2017 return (s); SS card or ITIN for everyone on your return; SSA-1099 form; all W-2s; 1099R, 1099 MISC or other 1099 forms; Healthcare forms; self-employment forms; 1098T from college; mortgage statement; and a cancelled check for refunds.

We currently do not have a Friends group at this location, however, kindly contact the Friends Administrator (friends@queenslibrary.org) to find an active Friends group near you. 

Friends Chapters enrich community life around their community library. You will meet other people who care, and you will benefit your neighborhood by:

• Increasing community awareness and library use.
• Acting as liaisons between community and your library.
• Sponsoring programs that enhance the cultural life of your community.

As a Friend, you will:

• Educate your community about Queens Library’s vital services.
• Contribute your time towards programs and special activities at your library.
• Advocate for better library service to your own community through outreach, legislative contact, and fundraising.
