ShapeUp NYC: Latin Cardio Dance Fitness for Adults

Instructor Michele leads this fitness class that addresses muscle strength, flexibility, and endurance while keeping your heart rate up in order to burn maximum calories and tone the body. IRS certified volunteers, sponsored by AARP Foundation, will complete and e-file your 2018 tax returns on a first-come, first-served basis. You must bring a NYS Driver's License or Non-Driver's ID; copy of the 2017 return (s); SS card or ITIN for everyone on your return; SSA-1099 form; all W-2s; 1099R, 1099 MISC or other 1099 forms; Healthcare forms; self-employment forms; 1098T from college; mortgage statement; and a cancelled check for refunds.

Tai Chi for Adults with Lenny Antonucci

Space! The Cosmos For Kids

Space! The Cosmos For Kids is a techno-space-dance-party for kids. Each song includes dancing, music technology and information about our solar system to a thumping beat. This program is free. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required. For children ages 6 to 12.

We currently do not have a Friends group at this location, however, kindly contact the Friends Administrator (friends@queenslibrary.org) to find an active Friends group near you. 

Friends Chapters enrich community life around their community library. You will meet other people who care, and you will benefit your neighborhood by:

• Increasing community awareness and library use.
• Acting as liaisons between community and your library.
• Sponsoring programs that enhance the cultural life of your community.

As a Friend, you will:

• Educate your community about Queens Library’s vital services.
• Contribute your time towards programs and special activities at your library.
• Advocate for better library service to your own community through outreach, legislative contact, and fundraising.
