Guji Guji - The Musical

Guji Guji begins with a crocodile egg that lands in a ducks´ nest. Out pops Guji - a small crocodile that is raised as a duck. Mother Duck doesn´t care that Guji is different from her other babies. They are all her children and she loves them all the same. Problems arise when Guji Guji meets two big crocodiles that tell him he is a bloodthirsty duck-eating crocodile -just like them! Guji Guji is a tale about differences and similarities, love, friendship and thinking for yourself.

The Colors of the Wind Dance Group

Like old friends getting together, The Colors of the Wind Dancers return for the 5th time for its annual gala show. Huang Xiang was nominated for the Nobel Prize for Literature. His "House Poem" combines art with poetry, and the walls of a house are decorated with poetry and calligraphy, which has become a sightseeing destination in Pittsburgh.

QL International Resource Center presents: Japanese Classical Dance

Sachiyo Ito and Company will present beautiful Japanese classical dances, including 19th century Kabuki dance. To familiarize the audience with Kabuki, Ms. Ito will offer a demonstration of various styles of walk by characters in Kabuki plays and the use of stage props such as a dance fan. A work choreographed by Sachiyo Ito in classical dance style will also be presented.
