Oral History Workshop at the Sunnyside Library
Learn how to conduct a great interview to capture the history of your family or neighborhood as a Queens Memory volunteer interviewer. A Reading and Writing Workshop with Jackie de Dios
Join emerging writer Jackie de Dios, a native Woodside, Queens resident, for an afternoon reading and writing workshop. Ms. de Dios is a recipient of the 2017 Queens Arts Fund New Works Grant and will read an excerpt from her work "69-06 Roosevelt Avenue," a story that follows a Filipino immigrant family who settle in Woodside during the 1980s. New York New Fusion Music Concert
