Learn the Turkish art of ebru! Paper marbling (ebru) is the art of creating colorful patterns by sprinkling and brushing color pigments on a pan of oily water and then transferring this pattern to paper. Radio Jarocho

Spanish: Radio Jarocho mantiene la música creada en las ciudades y el campo pantanoso de esta parte de México viva y añade sus canciones originales que capturan el espíritu de este estilo popular de su repertorio. Esta banda con sede en Nueva York ha estado tocando son jarocho desde el 2003, realizando conciertos en las ciudades a lo largo de la costa este.

Radio Jarocho keeps alive the music of the swampy Mexican countryside around Veracruz, with original songs that capture the spirit of the popular "son jarocho." This New York City-based band has performed along the east coast of the United States since 2003. Part of Queens Library’s Hispanic Heritage Month Celebrations.

Flamenco Music and Dance
The nonprofit music and dance company Flamenco Latino illustrates how Latino melodies, rhythms, and new forms influenced flamenco. This program includes modern flamenco music, some dance footwork called “La Ida y Vuelta Hoy” (the Round Trip Today), and also incorporates elements of jazz and salsa with flamenco. Hakka New Yorker

The Hakka Alliance Inc. is holding a concert by the Dong Dong band, a Hakka rock band from Taiwan. The 6 talented members in the band use modern music instruments such as guitar and bass and traditional Chinese instruments like flute and erhu for a unique sound.
