Policy Makers Need to Hear Your Voice

Queens Library, in partnership with the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College CUNY, presents A Public Voice: Safety and Justice Forum.

The purpose of "A Public Voice" is to have community members engage in conversations to inform local, regional, and national policymakers on the topics of safety and justice here in New York City.

The conversation will be guided by the new National Issue Guide created by the National Issues Forums, which explores three policy options for how to prevent violence and create thriving communities in NYC.

In partnership with the Kettering Foundation, we will be gathering information generated at the forum to inform legislators about what citizens in conversations want to see happen on this critical public issue.

Participate in this forum discussion and make your voice heard!
