Share your library love on social media! After you nominate your community library, ask them for their "I Nominated" sign, take a picture, and share it online @NYCLibAwards using #MyNYCLibrary!

Last year, your Arverne, Glen Oaks, and Far Rockaway libraries were award winners. 19,000 nominations were received, and we hope that even more people will participate this year!

We invite New York City library lovers of all ages and backgrounds to tell us about the outstanding impact your library has on your neighborhood and your community.

The NYC Neighborhood Library Awards are made possible through a collaboration by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and Charles H. Revson Foundation, in association with WNYC's Brian Lehrer Show. You can learn more about the Awards at http://www.nyclibraryawards.org.

The strongest nominations will explain why a neighborhood library should win this award, using specific examples and personal anecdotes. You may nominate only ONE library for a NYC Neighborhood Library Award. You may submit only ONE nomination.

As grand prize winners from last year, Arverne and Glen Oaks are NOT eligible for a NYC Neighborhood Library Award this year.
