Celebrate the Solar Eclipse With Queens Library!

UPDATE: Solar Eclipse glasses will be available only at our viewing events, and only for event participants, on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.

On Monday, August 21, a solar eclipse will be visible across the entire continental United States. For the first time in 99 years, no matter where you live in North America, you’ll see a total or partial eclipse of the sun!

Queens Library will be holding special programs in August leading up to the eclipse, including an “Eclipsecon” movie series and, of course, viewings of the eclipse on August 21 at several of our community libraries, including:
