Youth Justice Court

Queens Library has partnered with Queens Law Associates, also known as QLA, to bring Youth Justice Court, a program for young adults/teens.  The program is currently available at the Queens Library for Teens in Far Rockaway and will be soon expand to Central Library and Cambria Heights.  This program will empower youths to become peer leaders both in school and in the community. Apply Now


Why should I become a Youth Court Advocate?

  • Improve Your Résumé
    Becoming a youth court advocate will teach you valuable skills that you can add to your résumé and discuss at job interviews.
  • Help Your Community
    You will help peers from the community avoid school suspension, criminal and family court appearances, and potential violations of probation.
  • Have Fun
    Youth Justice Court isn’t all about work; there will be plenty of fun parties, free field trips, and activities throughout the year!
