Demographic Studies
Ongoing community analysis is the key to the success of the Queens Library which serves the most ethnically diverse county in the country. In order to provide programs and services that match the needs of our multicultural customers, we have made extensive use of statistical data from government agencies. The most useful data has been compiled into demographic studies on various topics, such as new immigrants settling in Queens, Limited English Proficiency (LEP) students statistics in Queens's public schools, and births to foreign-born mothers. Visit the Demographics section of the Queens Library website for detailed information.
