Computer Classes for Spanish Speakers 
Need to learn how to turn on your computer or write an email? These classes are for you. 5/11-Introduction to the computer; 5/18-Navigating the Internet; 5/25-Creating your own email account. Participants are encouraged to attend all three classes. Preregister at the Reference Desk beginning Saturday, May 4 at 10:00 a.m.

Immigration Law 101 (in Spanish) 
At theis workshop in Spanish you will learn about 2013 immigration reform, family- and employment-based sponsoring, changes in the visa waiver process and deportation defenses.

Cultural Programs
New Americans Program offers Cultural Arts programs celebrating the arts and literature of ethnic groups in Queens communities. Programs are presented in the Central Library and in community libraries. Offerings include music, dance, drama performances, bilingual poetry and storytelling. Cultural arts programs are bilingual in English and the language of the culture being showcased.
Coping Skills
New Americans Program offers Copings Skills workshops: lectures and workshops to help immigrants adjust to life in America presented in selected community libraries as well as the Central Library. Programs are presented in English and in the major immigrant languages of Queens by lawyers, teachers, counselors and other professionals. Topics presented include immigration law, becoming a citizen, tenants rights, career planning, starting a business, parenting, education and health.
